SCRIPTURES (all are taken from NIV)
Psalm 30:4
Sing to the Lord, you saints of his; praise his holy name.

Psalm 19:1
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Psalm 100
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.  Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.  Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.  Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.  For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.

Thoughts
Once again, we turn to the Psalms for our scriptures, closing with a verse from Colossians reminding us to always show our gratefulness to God for all that we have and for all that we are.  Just now I am grateful to my friend Don Besig who has gifted us with another video, “Thanks Be to God!”  Don’s own words express the feelings of all of us,  “With all of the chaos in the world, it seems like we should take a few moments to be reminded of God’s great gifts - and pause to give thanks.”

Prayer
Eternal and Loving God, help us always to show our gratitude to you for your many blessings, even in this time of trials.  Amen.
