SCRIPTURE - Selected verses from the Psalms (NIV)
Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him.  33:1

Thoughts
Our devotional today is a little different with thoughts taken from the Psalms.  The Psalms were meant to be sung.  We will be viewing a video that comes from Don Besig, well-known composer and friend of DeeAnn Daniels.  Don has worked with Nancy Price for a number of years, composing many anthems, some of which have been sung by Chancel Choir for our services at PCoB.  You may remember that both Don and Nancy were with us at separate times for weekends of PCoB Music Appreciation.  Nancy also gave a recital in the afternoon of her time with us.  During this time of pandemic, Don spent many hours looking for photos that would fit each phrase of the anthem, I Hear God's Music, for which Nancy is the soloist.  Listen, enjoy and feel blessed as we hear God's music.

PRAYER
Loving God, we hear your music as it surrounds us each and every day.   We praise you; we thank you.  Amen.

To the Good Folk of the Palmyra Church of the Brethren,  Did you know that our leaders, teams and staff are continuing to meet, even though we can’t get together physically?  The ministries and business of our church are being handled through phone calls, conference calls, mail, emails, video meetings, various social media, etc. Occasionally, a few must gather to record the various pieces of our services, while observing safety protocols. Tonight, our Board will meet via ZOOM technology. Please hold our leaders, and our congregation, in prayer as we continue to discern, imagine, plan, care and serve together.  A Little Humor  Recently the Trotwood Church of the Brethren in Ohio observed their annual “Holy Humor Sunday.”  Here are a few of my favorites from their “Together in Quarantine” list.  This morning I saw a neighbor talking to her cat.  It was obvious she thought her cat understood her.  I came into the house and told my dog......we laughed a lot.  I need to practice social dist

Dr. Donald Martin, a faculty member at Penn State College of Medicine for 35 years and an anesthesiologist from Lebanon County, was named the 2020 recipient of the Pennsylvania Medical Society’s (PAMED) Distinguished Service Award. Dr. Martin is now professor emeritus in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine.
